Episode 20: Influential Albums with Grifters & Shills

We made it to 20 episodes, y'all! We're so grateful that so many people have taken the time to give the show a listen and support the bands we've been fortunate enough to talk to. As we did with the 10th episode, we decided to have a discussion about influential albums in our lives.
This time, we chose songs/albums that led us to pick up an instrument, made us decide to start a band and/or led us to where we are today as musicians and songwriters. And, because we get lonely, we decided to have our friends in Grifters & Shills come along for the ride.
They have a new album called Fireball coming out on June 17th and we're premiering two songs from the album! The first, Live On Purpose, features our very own Kim Barker on harmony vocals!
Also, it is worth noting that when Kim says she enjoyed the F/X soundtrack, she is actually referring to the song Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop. She didn't realize which song it was until after the recording. Oops.
