Episode 13: Gabe Wootton - Part One

"Raised in east Texas, Gabe Wootton split the pine curtain as quickly as possible. He started writing songs to remind himself of the things he wanted to forget, but the whole deal slipped his mind." That's Gabe's Spotify bio and it pretty much sums up the humor and wit in Wootton's songwriting and how tight he usually is with his story. Well, we got a few pieces of his history at a time between discussions of the various facets of music from all angles, be it listener, performer or anywhere between.

We did the interview in our living room so there was beer and a smoke break in there for Gabe so the conversation naturally split into two episodes.
