Link to The Adoptee Diaries: Bethany Fraser (she/her) is a seasoned Advocate, Author, Founder, Marketer, and Speaker with over two decades of professional expertise in diverse corporate marketing and sales roles. With a leap of faith, she transformed her talents, passions, and commitment to community into the thriving enterprise known as Twenty 1 Media Group (21MG), a certified minority-owned, women-owned marketing agency dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized organizations.

At 21MG, Bethany excels in crafting innovative marketing and business development strategies, leveraging tactical planning to elevate brands, identify new prospects, and create unparalleled business opportunities. Her track record includes securing impactful media placements across major publications such as LA Times, CBS, Rolling Stones, Fast Company, Al Jazeera, and Yahoo News.

In addition to her client-focused endeavors, Bethany channels her energy into purposeful passion projects. In 2022, she launched Otito, an online jewelry and home decor boutique that originated from a hobby nurtured over two decades. The brand name, Otito, meaning "truth" in Yoruba, pays homage to Bethany’s western African roots – a profound connection uncovered only after decades of searching, as she navigated her journey as an adoptee.

Bethany's lived experiences fuel her role as a prominent advocate and counselor within the adoption/foster constellation and for families affected by incarceration. Her advocacy led to a pivotal change in policy regarding the predatory private prison phone industry, ensuring families with incarcerated loved ones stay connected.

Recognized as a sought-after thought leader, Bethany shares insights on Ancestry & Adoption, The Search for Identity & Belonging, Being Mixed in America, Finding Family & Forgiveness, and The Adoption Experience. She is a contributing author at The Inclusion Solution, where she recently penned an insightful essay about her adoption journey and the quest for belonging and identity.
