Old Americana has taught us many things. For those of us who never lived in the 50s, only love the styles, we should be paying attention to other things. As parents, there are many undiscovered hidden meanings and lessons to be learned by watching this show. I'm totally addicted to the simplicity of life, the love of the family unit, the respect among piers and concerned parents, with kids who asked to be excused from the dinner table and a mother thanked for her cooking. We need things like this now.
