As they say, “If you’re a mess, everybody pays.” Have you ever rushed out the door only to realize your kid isn’t wearing any shoes? Or maybe you’ve rocked an entire workout at the gym with your leggings inside out. And that’s when you know you need a little self-care. In this episode, Andie and Angie talk about how self-care is taking care of your mental, emotional, and physical health, as well as finding that overall sense of well-being. All you need to do is figure out what brings you joy, peace, and a sense of rejuvenation. The beauty of self-care is that it evolves and changes throughout your parenting journey.   Here’s the key - self-care needs to be intentional. Sometimes, you just need a well-deserved nap, a good book, a leisurely walk, or even some mindless scrolling on social media. There might be times in your very busy life when it’s better to show up five minutes late and calm, rather than on time and completely frazzled. Take a moment for yourself and embrace the chaos.
