Sensations are sensations, not mandates to act.” In this Mother Funny episode, Andie and Angie give helpful tips and tricks, write a poem, and Andie makes up a rap, and a hip-hop dance. Andie will do whatever it takes to normalize intrusive thoughts since everyone has them at some point. What should you do when you have an intrusive thought? Sometimes you just need to go outside, exercise, write in a journal (that always seems to be a tip or trick), practice gratitude, or tell a friend. Or as Andie and Angie say, “Distract yourself!” Sometimes moms just need to ask themselves- what if everything is going to be ok? Be encouraged, mama! You’re doing a great job!
