Welcome back! Today we're chatting with Meghan McFerran, founder of one of our current favorite fitness methods, City Sweat. City Sweat is a dance-based pilates inspired workout all choreographed to the beat of the music. Meghan created City Sweat as a celebration, rather than a workout. In this episode she shares the story of why she decided to teach fitness rather than continuing to pursue a career in dance and how City Sweat took off in 2020, starting with a feature on Good Morning America right at the start of the COVID quarantine.
Meghan truly has the best energy and we had so much fun recording with her. She shares her best advice how to cultivate confidence and self love and why you need to continue to show up for yourself every day. We talk about the importance of enjoying fitness rather than dreading it, and Meghan shares her favorite methods of self care, the food she cannot live without, and her advice to her younger self.
You can find Meghan @meghanmcferran on Instagram where you can sign up for a free trial of City Sweat. If you join now and sign up for her Summer challenge, you'll be entered in a HUGE giveaway - so run don't walk!
