You know, Viruses Wouldn’t Exist If It Weren’t for Sin: Grace Abounds Chapter 8: Original Sin

Pastor Hackmann and Huebner discuss the new normal at Grace thanks to the coronavirus and celebrate technology, like podcasting to be able to stay connected to people.  This week’s reading was on original sin and how it has impacted and every generation that has been born since the Fall.  The original sin in the Garden of Eden, now means that the rest of the human race inherits sin from their parents and is born in hostility to the gospel.  Even though sin is a stark reality for us, the fact that we are bound to sin and evil from birth, (and thus incapable of playing a part in our own salvation) makes Christ’s calling of us through the Means of Grace and his unconditional saving love that much more amazing!  He knew how powerless and weak we were, and he still saved us!!  All thanks be to our God!!
