The Savior Is Coming: Believe and Be Saved
With the First Sunday in Advent a new church year begins. We join our voices to those who praised Jesus on Palm Sunday: Hosanna! Save us Lord. Our annual review of Jesus’ ministry, passion, and resurrection repeats the good news that God forgives our sins in Christ.
O God, you have called your servants to ventures of faith of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
