Jesus Quenches Our Thirst | John 4:5-26

Jesus conquers spiritual thirst.

Parched and panting—that’s what we are without Jesus. Healthy on the outside by all appearances, but feeling the dry deadness of sin in our consciences. Jesus comes with the water of life, forgives our sins, and shows us a new life with him.

Prayer:

O God, in your love you have always shown mercy. Be gracious to all who have gone astray from your ways and bring them again with penitent hearts and steadfast faith to embrace and hold fast the unchangeable truth of your Word; through Jesus, Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
