As a society, we don't like to process change. This goes back to our primitive roots where new animals/tribes/foods proposed unknown threats and what was safe was what was recognisable. As much as this enabled us to get to where we are today and evolve into what we have become, we are still using these fight or flight responses for things that no longer require them. We close ourselves off from opportunities or new relationships because they propose a threat to our 'perceived security.'

I mention government systems and how we are governed by a set of outdated rules and regulations that no longer work to control the masses, and how there are visible cracks and flaws in the system that are only growing with time. The systemic oppression that was once accepted and widely enforced by the media as a means of coercive control, no longer has the power over us to shift our mindsets, making these cracks more visible. I spoke briefly on the American TikTok ban and how this is the governments way of silencing our newfound voice, as this platform has become a way to communicate about the hardships we endure that aren't broadcast on the media.

Finally I speak about personal relationships, jobs, and everyday hardships that come up around this time of year as we decide what is good for us, what is bad for us, and how difficult it can be to make choices  based on this information.
