Monster Movie Happy Hour, Ep. 63, "Beginning of the End"

Giant locusts attack Chicago and we sip Mary's green cocktail in this episode devoted to Bert. I. Gordon's 1957 Big Bug Feature, "Beginning of the End". We had a grand old time.

Mary's "Locust Juice"cocktail

Handful basil leaves
1 tsp. granulated sugar
1 oz. lime  juice
1.5 gin
Sprig of basil for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, place a small handful of basil leaves (Mary used Thai basil)
Add granulated sugar
Muddle the basil with the sugar
Add lime juice
Add gin

Shake over ice, strain into a small glass and garnish with sprig of basil.

Enjoy!
