027: Married Young And Figuring Out The Money Game...Great Lessons!

In this episode you will hear how Travis was raised by his Mom in a single parent household.  Unfortunately Travis' Mom died at an early age when he was just 14 years old and so he went to live with his Dad until he was 17 years old.  Since Travis was not given any advice on how to handle money, he spent the money his Mom left him when he turned 18 in about year and a half.  Travis later on received advice from an Employer, his Dad and his Aunt and Uncle on how to handle money with his future.  When Travis and his wife sat down and set goals for their family they achieved pretty much all of them.  Travis is now teaching his kids how to handle their finances.  When Travis was 22 he and his wife decided to buy a house and they learned that they could buy a house with 3% down (first time home buyer), so they did what they could to make it happen which was one the smartest things they could have done.
