In this episode you will hear Bart talk about he grew up in a blue collar family where Mom and Dad had no financial literacy to teach young Bart. Bart's mindset was set by having goals at the early ago of 8 wanting a bicycle, he found out he needed to go out and make the money to buy one. That goal setting mindset is what elevated him to achieve a great work ethic for the rest of his life. Lucky for Bart, he found a Mentor at the age of 17, unknowingly learning things about Business, Money and Life. All of these early life lessons is what catapulted Bart's entrepreneurial career and he now gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor. The lesson here is understanding that parents can't teach what parents don't know, it is our responsibility to be proactive in learning about Financial Literacy.
