In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the October episode of MOmentum explores the issue of domestic violence and the impact it has on survivors' maternal health. Join Huvona Watkins, Executive Director at Almost Home and Sarah Ehrhard Reid, Chief, Office on Women’s Health at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for a discussion of The Missouri Pregnancy Associated Mortality Review 2018-2020 Annual Report, the role that doulas can play in supporting survivors of violence, and other recommendations that address maternal mortality in Missouri.
