The New Era of Creation Care

Today, in honor of Earth Day, we address the issue of creation care with one of our favorite people, Kyra Hood. Kyra is a student at Southern Wesleyan University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Christian Ministry. She is super active here at SWU as an athlete in cross country, and track and field, and she frequently participates in musicals here on campus. Kyra is the founder of SWU Environmentalists, an organization that seeks to lead the campus and community in a lifestyle that is sustainable and more environmentally friendly, specifically focused on recycling, community involvement, and educating others on issues involving environmental concerns.  Our discussion addresses the catalyst that introduced Kyra to a lifestyle of conservationism and what practical steps we can take to be worthy stewards of our earth.
