In this episode, I’m sharing some insights God gave me while watching the Netflix documentary Unknown Number: The High School Catfish. If you’ve seen it, you know it’s about two teens who were harassed by nonstop text messages—only for it to be revealed that the person behind it all was someone shockingly close to them. Watching how people reacted to the mom online—so quick to judge, tear down, and call her every name in the book—made me pause.

It reminded me that as believers, we have to check ourselves. Yes, what she did was wrong. But there’s no sin too big for God’s forgiveness, and He expects us to extend that same forgiveness to others—even when we feel like they don’t deserve it.

I share a personal story of how I had to forgive a family member who hurt me with their words, and how the Holy Spirit convicted me when I wanted to hold onto an apology before I would talk to them again. I also tie in the story of Jonah, who didn’t want Nineveh to receive mercy because, in his eyes, they weren’t worthy. But the truth is—none of us are worthy. Yet God still forgives.

The heart of this episode is simple: forgiveness isn’t about who deserves it. It’s about being obedient to God and remembering how much He’s forgiven us.

Prayer of Salvation

If you’re ready to invite Jesus into your heart and begin a new life in Him, please pray this prayer with me:

"Dear God, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I admit that I am a sinner and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, and that He died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for loving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen."
