This week we welcome special guest Losana Lutu as we preview her beloved Parramatta Eels. For the Eels it has been a busy off season as Head Coach Dean Widders reshaped the squad to bounce back in season 2022. Despite an opening round loss to last year's premiers, the Eels are still confident of making their mark in the competition.
Losana talks about her own journey into the NRLW and reflect on her debut last weekend. Losana also talks about the new Parramatta spine that includes emerging star Gayle Broughton and one of the most promising dummy halves in the game in Seli Mailangi. Can this talented but inexperienced spine lead the Parramatta Eels up the ladder this season?
Losana previews their must win clash against last year's grand finalist the St George Ilawarra Dragons and importance of her forward pack including Filomina Hanisi, Ellie Johnston and Simaima Taufa leading the way. Losana also praises the leadership of co-captains Taufa and Penitani, who have helped the young playmaker settle into the squad and competition.
And to round out the show in "Rapid Fire" the panel continue our MVP series, with a focus on some of the rising stars in the game. Which rookie has caught your eye so far early in the competition?
