This week is NAIDOC week, and we open the show with our acknowledgement of country and a look at our favourite Indigenous players of all time.
This week on ‘The Playbook’ we start by looking at the evolution of the lock position in rugby league, the adaption of the position throughout the years and how important locks are in todays game. We then look at some of the toughest and best performing locks of the past and compare them looking at similarities and differences with some of the best in todays game.
In "The Match" we take a look at two legends of the Brisbane Broncos - Shane Webcke and Gorden Tallis, two of the toughest forwards to ever play the game. Both individuals achieving 3 NRL premierships and playing for their country who both speak in the highest regard for each other. We speak about there brutally domination of the teams between the late 90s and early 2000s and how both of these players made such a difference to an formidable pack that would give other teams forward pack nightmares.
And to round out the show in ‘Repair Shop’ we look at what repairs should be made to the Wests Tigers in order to steer the club in the right direction.
