On this week's episode in ‘the Breakdown’ we preview Magic Round as all eight games are played at Suncorp stadium over one round of football. "Borrowed" from the English Super League, Magic Round has been a huge success for the game brining together all NRL fans to celebrate our sport and watch teams battle it out for two competition points.
In "the Breakdown" this week we preview arguably the game of the season as the two competition favourites in the Melbourne Storm and the Penrith Panthers go head to head. The Storm have been in rare form the last few weeks punishing sides with some incredible displays of offensive football. While for the Panthers, they will be primed for a bounce back performance after a rare loss to Parramatta last week.
In the our second feature game, we preview the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the Brisbane Broncos. For Many, Tom Trbojevic has returned from injury and is slowly working his back into full fitness and form. While their skipper Daly Cherry-Evans continues his purple patch of form as arguably Manly's best player this season. While for the Broncos, they will be confident heading into this one. In front of a packed Suncorp Stadium, can they keep their win streak alive?
And to round out the show in ‘Rapid Fire’ we offer our picks for the remaining games and reveal our underdog tip of the week
