Happy to be chatting with Brooklyn Kohl, a recent friend that I've made through mutual friends in the Grand Rapids music scene, many who have performed with Benjaman James or GrooveGround Music! While she is currently living in Brooklyn, we chat about our shared experiences in the Michigan music scene, especially our time in West Michigan churches.  



Brooklyn Kohl is a singer-songwriter who transforms her daily observations into sultry, soulful moments through smooth, dynamic pop with a twist of R&B and jazz. A reflective entertainer, she inspires an environment of intimacy and inclusivity among audiences no matter where she performs: the Craft Lake City Fest, a Sofar Sounds show, or in front of 15,000 people at the Vivint Arena.
