10/24/2022 - Emmett Till Statue | Teacher Shortage | Kratom Bans

Decades after 14-year-old Emmett Till was kidnapped and murdered by white men in the Mississippi Delta, a statue now stands in the city of Greenwood honoring his memory.

A recent report reveals, Mississippi’s critical teacher shortage is getting worse.  

And legislation to ban the herbal drug Kratom could be introduced in the next legislative session.
