Campaign 1 - Session 24: A beginning

Join our intrepid adventurers a short way into their travels together. This is our 24th session and of course some things have transpired since the start of this campaign.

After their arrival in Phandalin, a small desolate town in the territories of the United Cities of Northreach on the continent of Memyria the elven ranger Elmwood and tiefling sorcerer Lana encounter the silver dragonborn rogue Aquilon and the human monk Razok in the town’s inn. Together they head out on their adventures, clearing the town of a scourge of bandits called the Rebrands and helping a necromancer wizard by the name of Hamun Kost open a long-abandoned site of the precursors known only as the Ancients.

Sadly after only a short time in the adventuring life, Aquilon meets his end after haphazardly getting sucked into a different dimension and making some ill-fated choices there. Luckily, not long after the group returns order to Phandalin, they meet the goliath barbarian Helena, who joins the group on their quest to capture or kill the leader of the Redbrands, a wizard who goes by the name of Glasstaff.

Our podcast begins as the party has just begun their attack on the Cragmaw Keep, a crumbling once powerful stronghold now inhabited by Goblinoids in league with Glasstaff.

Sadly this session one of our players was unable to attend, so the Dungeon Master played Elmwood’s part where needed and the other players rolled the dice for him.
