In this episode, Gary Mansfield said that talking to Bob Osborne was an absolute pleasure; he has had such a roller-coaster of a life from a rag & bone beginnings to associating with high society, from learning to read on a horse & cart to being a published poet.

He tells how his family history that includes a bodyguard to Queen Victoria and an original ‘Rebel Not Taken’, his making of art on the beaches of Cornwall to showing in the Saatchi Gallery with partner and fellow artists ‘Mad in Chiswick’ Carrie Reichardt (Carrie will be featured in Ep. 04).
