18. Imaging USA | What You Need to Know

I am excited to be heading to Imaging USA Photography Conference and thought that this would be an excellent opportunity to break down the do's and don'ts of attending a photography conference. Now I'm not talking about packing a notebook and wearing comfortable shoes. I want to focus more on ways that you can prepare yourself for all of the information that you are about to consume.

Here are 4 key things that you should keep in mind when attending a conference:

• Don't reinvent your business with every speaker that you listen to
• Don't ever do something just because someone else does it
• Take the time to learn the reason behind every change you make in your business.
• Learn to audit your business and continually check in on where your business is so that you can make adjustments and pivots throughout the year.
