38: Derek Schulze: Think Like a Monk in Action, Founder/CEO of Symbio Denver

This week I was honored to sit down with Derek Schulze of Symbio Denver, one of Denver's most creative, interesting, influential and successful personalities in the city. We hear a lot about how someone's journey takes them off the beaten path or how they have gone on extraordinary explorations... yet in Derek's case this is not an exaggeration of any sort.

In Derek's case, the beaten path started on farmland in Indiana, sent him to Chicago for college and eventually saw him live for 2 years as an actual monk... yes, a monk. 

To try and briefly describe the journey we are about to go on would be a waste in futility,  so instead I will simply tell you that Derek's story and his opinions of this existence are among some of my favorites shared on this podcast to date, and I was so very grateful he would share them with us.
