 The 3-Step Solution to Break Free from Procrastination 

1️ The 3-Second Rule – Trick Your Brain into Action

  • If you think of something you need to do, take action within 3 seconds before your brain talks you out of it.
  • It can be as small as opening an email, picking up the phone, or writing the first sentence.
  • Why? Action kills overthinking.

2️ The 5-Minute Sprint – Make It Tiny

  • Tell yourself: "I’ll just do this for 5 minutes."
  • Once you start, momentum kicks in, and you’ll likely keep going.
  • Why? It bypasses the brain’s resistance to big tasks.

 

3️ The Public Commitment – No More Hiding

  • Say it out loud or message someone: "I will [task] by [time]."
  • Why? When we make things public, we’re more likely to follow through.

PS: Procrastination is just fear dressed up as excuses. Action is the only antidote.
