At all times, we have millions of things we could be doing. How do you decide what the best use of your time is?
How do you determine what tasks are the most important?
What process do you use to PRIORITIZE your tasks?
"If someone is going down the wrong road, they don't need motivation to speed up. What they need is education to turn them around." - Jim Rohn
A great way to prioritize your tasks is to use the Dwight D. Eisenhower Decision Matrix.
“What is Important is seldom Urgent, and what is Urgent is seldom Important.”
– Dwight Eisenhower (34th president)
Important = Anything that has a direct effect on the progression towards your big dreams and long-term goals - who you're trying to become.
Not Important = Doesn’t contribute to your big dreams.
Urgent= It needs to be done immediately (definitely today).
Not Urgent = Can be done whenever you please.
