Are you intentionally creating your future, or leaving it up to chance?

Having a clear VISION of where you want to go is crucial to engage our mind's most useful features.

“Every block of stone has a statue inside it, and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.” - Michelangelo

A part of your brain called your reticular activating system (RAS) handles where your attention goes. This is the psychology behind why setting goals is so effective.

Your RAS consists of a bundle of neurons that start in the brain stem. It acts as a filter for your conscious mind, allowing select information through and blocking out the data we are not actively looking for.

In 2015 Dr. Gail Matthews conducted a study on goal setting. It proved that people who write down their goals are 33 percent more likely to achieve them than those who just spent time thinking about their goals.

These are a few concepts from my book that will be out early next year. If you're interested in receiving a notification when the book launches, join the mailing list at CJLEDY.com.

Thanks for tuning in!
