Shark attack survivor Joel Mason on how blood donors saved his life

"If you haven't got blood on that emergency helicopter, don't bother coming" 

Shark attack survivor Joel Mason shares his story of how after being attacked by a shark his life (and his leg!) was saved by enormous blood and plasma transfusion and how he needed blood products at the beach before he could even be put into the helicopter.

Following his accident, Joel has been am incredible ambassador for blood donation, an educator, a volunteer and has been a committed member of his family and local community. He truly embodies all that we hoped to profile on the Milkshakes for Marleigh podcast.
