Mateoh Eggleton is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child, born into the story of his family, culture, and Country. He carries with him the songlines of his ancestors and culture, passed down by generations. His Dreaming is part of history, while his future is his own to shape. In todays episode, we ask for your help to give Mateoh a future.
Mateoh is just 6 years old and has recieved blood products from hundreds of Australian blood donors. Mateoh is fighting a colossal battle against Chronic Granulomatous Disorder (CGD) and Haemolytic Anaemia.
He has recently undergone his second bone marrow transplant in a final bid to save his life. Australian blood donors have preserved his life and given him a fighting chance to grow up with his 3 siblings and his fierce Mumma, Shalyn.
Mateoh needs us to donate blood to keep him alive. He also needs the miracle of financial support to get him to St Jude's Hospital in Tennessee so that he can participate in a medical trial that may save his life and also help to save the lives of others life him, all over the world.
