S2. Ep9. Australian Blood Donors saved Cody’s life through 11 surgeries to remove his brain tumour & now his Service Dog Lulu fills his life with joy.

To celebrate International Assistance Dog Awareness Week, we share our journey of getting Paddy as Marleigh’s Seizure Response Service Dog and we meet Tracey whose son Cody has Service Dog, Lulu. 

Australian Blood Donors saved Cody at the age of two when he underwent 11 surgeries to remove his brain tumour. A trial of Intravenous Immunoglobulin Infusions was also used to attempt to treat his uncontrollable seizures.                               

Cody is now 16 and his whole world has opened up with the support of Service Dog Lulu. She brings his so much joy, has helped him get out of his wheelchair and has given him the confidence to enter further education and the workforce the the NDIS Umbrella Program.
