In the letter to the Ephesians, Paul begins by explaining to the reader what God has done for them. Then, he continues to tell them what their response to God should be, and in chapters 5 and 6, he continues to teach them how they should respond to one another. Paul advocates for an orderly family and society. He's suggesting that if we are going to enjoy the blessings of God, we should build orderly structures in our community and family to sustain them.
