In the book of Exodus we find a nation steeped in turmoil whose hope cannot be found in politicians or armies but in a sovereign, promise-keeping God. We see that even before their cry for help is uttered, a savior is provided who has passed through ”waters of death” (Ex. 1:22) to have and give abundant life. We see that God’s children will be identified by their relationship with him as a God who has all power, knowledge, and loves them in spite of their brokenness with an everlasting love. Listen as Pastor Will Hawk unpacks Exodus 1-2. This sermon is the first of this series. June 9, 2019.
