Set in the year of its release, Max Cady, a convicted felon, has recently been released from prison. Spending 14 years of his life behind bars, Cady is released from prison with a grudge against his former defense attorney who he believes didn't defend him in an honest and justifiable way. With a clear plan for vengeance , Max Cady is soon to be visiting his former defense attorney, and no one is safe.
