Bio:


Paul Stanford is an American political activist and businessman and one of the trailblazers of cannabis culture.


A person that has dedicated his life to the liberation of the sacred cannabis plant, he was also one of the first proponents of hemp based products in America, founding his hemp paper company in 1988.


Stanford founded the Hemp and Cannabis Foundation in 1999 in Portland, Oregon. During his time with the group, they claimed to have helped over 250,000 patients obtain a legal permit to use medical marijuana in the states where it is legal.


He is also the founder of the Oregon based 'Hempstalk', which started in 2005, an annual cannabis activism and music festival.


Paul Stanford is also a master cannabis grower who has won many awards for his medicine. 


He won the top three places at the 2008 Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards, taking first place with his version of a strain known as Lemon Pledge, second with a strain called Train Wreck, and third with Dynamite. Stanford also won an honorable mention for best flavor with Green Lantern.            


Paul also has a long running cable access show, "Cannabis Common Sense' which has aired since 1996, and currently has over 1000 episodes.
