We chat to Olivia Ross-Hurst a former track and field athlete, and current triathlete. Since hanging up her spikes in 2014, Liv has created a lifestyle out of doing things that both terrify and challenge her. Her first foray into multisport was the Rat Race Coast to Coast in Scotland, which she completed solo in 9 hours (to take the win). Since then she learned to swim and ride a bike, and ventured into triathlon.
She qualified for the World Age Group Championships in her first Olympic distance race and proceeded to represent GB at both World and European ITU Championships at the distance. In 2017 she completed her first 70.3 race to qualify for the World Ironman 70.3 championships in Chattanooga.
Olivia is also a BTF Level 2 (Dip) Triathlon Coach, UK Athletics Run Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer. She is also an adidas Runners Captain, leading weekly community runs across the city of London, and women's runs from the adidas women Brick Lane studio in Shoreditch.
