When I started the comedy course run by Phil Smith and Fran Garrity, I met lots of great people. But someone who seemed to be way ahead of the rest of us very early on (I think we managed to level up later) was Amy Albright.
Now, we’ve done gigs together, I’ve been on the Too Grand open mic, and we’ve chatted socially, but I’ve not managed to get her onto the podcast so far.
Until now!
Amy chats about a few things, from that course that kicked it all off to a pub landlord who openly stated "I don't like women comedians."
Mate, it’s 2024. Also, that would have been archaic in 1994.
