The Amplified Bible say..The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. James goes on to tell us about the prayer life of Elijah and how God answered his prayers with great power. James is tell us as Christian Sons and Daughters of God we can pray just like Elijah and expect the same results!
