In the intro to a new series, John Driver explains why it Scripture leads us to honor the stories of other believers throughout history, the "huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith” (Hebrews 12:1). This week, we explore the story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the German theologian who served God faithfully, discipled others about what it means to embrace “costly grace,” lived in radical community with others, stood strong against injustice, worked as a spy against the Nazis, and was eventually martyred because of his faith in Christ.
