The Questions of Jesus (week 7): “Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?” :: 5/12/24

John Driver wraps up the series at the feeding of the 5000 in John 6. There are times when the questions of Jesus are meant to cause us to take inventory of what we believe is possible and impossible. We struggle with the idea of being tested because we tend to view any such thing from God in a negative light, certainly apart from his goodness. But when we can be honest with God and offer to Him the actual life we have in our present messy moments, no matter how small it may seem, we will find that Jesus may already be multiplying bread and fish in our hands, even if we don’t realize it.
