Out of Order, Part 3: Grace and Truth :: 9/11/22

John Driver continues our series by exploring the misunderstood nature of the way we grow in our faith. Though we tend to think it is by knowledge alone, the ways of Christ in Scripture reveal that we partake of the transformative elements of gospel as we follow Christ on a journey forward into life’s varying experiences. As we keep moving, we are to continually pay attention to the gospel itself, never believing we have fully understood every facet. This means addressing our own interpretation of the most debated aspect of the gospel: the order in which grace and truth exists and should be applied. We tend to choose either a truthless grace or a graceless truth, but the life and words of Christ reveal a better way.
