In this episode, Patricia uncovers ARFID to help save her daughter. She is the mother of two adult daughters and a registered nurse. Her 22-year-old daughter, Li, experienced a traumatic choking event in the past year and was diagnosed with ARFID. She graciously and starkly takes us on her journey with her daughter towards recovery. From test, questions and missed diagnoses to exhausting changes in their personal lives to teaming up with several community supports and powering through with persistence to beautiful outcomes. Her story is educational and motivating.
