It's easy to think that someone else like a pastor or teacher will do it, but listen up dads, NO ONE will have more impact on your kids spiritual formation than you. It's never too late to take your spiritual responsibility seriously. The best thing you can do to spiritually invest in your kids is to invest in them when they are young. God from the very beginning wanted fathers to take the spiritual development of their kids very seriously. Dads are suppose to lead their kids. When father's fail at their job, culture takes over. Men, it takes intentionality, you don't accidentally disciple your kids.If you don't know where to start or how to lead your kids spiritually, just take one small step today. Read a Bible story at the dinner table, pray before each meal, share a story of how God worked in your own life. Intentionality is the key word men, lead your kids on purpose.
