Communication and teamwork in doubles aren't easy to teach or measure. That's why I think I've neglected the subject a bit over the years. But over and over, the world's best players, like recent podcast guests and US Open Champions, Rajeev Ram & Erin Routliffe, continue to stress the importance of working together with their partner, communicating effectively, and building trust.
This episode covers what I think you should be communicating with your partner before, during, and after your matches, including what to do during tiebreakers and pressure moments. Following this advice should help you better strategize and communicate with your doubles partner.
