Welcome to the first segment of "Everyday People" featuring Ron Carter, media relations veteran and long-time vegan. In EP 24 and the second of a three-part series, Ron takes us through his journey from vegetarian in the late 70s to vegan in the 1990s and from social drinker to abstinence after he stumbled upon an alcoholic with a wet brain teetering on the brink of a horrific death.

Ron is Managing Director of The Carter Agency, TCA, a media relations firm. He is the principal for projects managed by TCA for clients including the City of Pasadena, Pasadena Unified School District, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board and Walmart among others.
