Episode 28 - "I've been ionized, but I'm okay now."

Welcome podcast fans, movie lovers and Blue Blaze Irregulars to what we hope will be the first in an ongoing occassional series; Silver Screen Podcast: Cult Classics. Conceived and brought to you by your host D.K, we kick off the first of these special episodes with legendary cult movie 'The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension'. An extremely multi-talented main character, interdimensional travel, invasion by a bunch of aliens named John, what's not to love? Well it can be an acquired taste given it's seeming lack of logic, sense or seriousness as you may well hear from one of our guests. Speaking of which D.K is joined by two new guests to the podcast; Nigel (aka "Kaiju") and Angela. To welcome them on board D.K challenges them to a two round movie game. Round One involves guessing the actor from two or three different movies and is at 00:27:00 to 00:51:20. The second and final round challenges our guests to name the movie after hearing it's tagline and is at 01:39:29 until 01:44:12. But fear not, there's plenty of discussion about the movie, audience responses and the usual conclusions and scores too. So fire up your oscillation overthruster, strap on your bubble-wrap glasses and join us on the journey. Because, after all, wherever you go, there you are.
