Episode 19 - "Shut up, Nick! You're not Twilight."

Welcome back fellow creatures of the night to the Silver Screen Podcast. Excuse the theatrics but it's all in honour of this week's movie review. We were thrilled to have a bit of a podcast crossover this week. From the Nerd Bible Podcast, hosts George & returning guest Conor (collectively known as Pasty Sheep) join Mike & D.K to discuss Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi's movie What We Do In the Shadows. Expect lots of quoting jokes, bad New Zealand accents and some mixed quality impressions. In between the revelry the conversation does manage to hit on vampire & horror movie tropes, archetypes, gender disparity in film, generation gaps, harangued I.T guys, the original short film project which blossomed into the movie and a surprising amount of unavoidable references to the equally brilliant TV show. So grab a plate of pasghetti, enjoy your worms, don't eat any chips and enjoy this madcap episode of the podcast.
