Episode 25 - "Are we talking about the Joker here or Ezra Miller?"
Welcome friends to our new episode, the next in our series of "top ten" specials. It's a rough time to be a DC fan right now, especially when it comes to film, but we wanted to spread some positivity and celebrate the movies DC have given us over the years. Thus we present here a panel of "experts" discussing their absolute favourites that they think represent the very best movies based on a DC comics property. Regular hosts Mike and D.K are joined in this endeavour by returning guest Nick (from our Predator review) and brand new guest Theo Stokes from The Big Screen Podcast. The rules were as follows; 1. Any film is allowed based on a DC property, including subsidiaries such as Vertigo. 2. The film has to have had a theatrical release (we could all fill a list with just the straight-to-video animated stuff). 3. You have to have seen the film (which may seem obvious but is here to explain one possible reason why Nick didn't have The Batman in his list). So that's it, settle in for a couple of hours (we don't blame you if you break this episode up, of course) of talking heroes, villains, writers, directors, formative experiences, big blue dongs and some "spirited" debate. Let us know your choices and your thoughts in the comments or at any of the links below. Up, up, and away...
