From the ashes of the former "Hit or Miss: The Big Screen" podcast, a new venture is born. Join Michael Wilson, a BA degree graduate in English and Film Studies, former "Big Screen" and ongoing "Hit or Miss: Star Trek" podcast creator/host/producer/editor and massive film buff as he's joined by various special guests to discuss the movies they love. This premiere episode, a special crossover with the series 1 finale of the Star Trek cast, sees Mike joined by his best friend and fellow Trekkie Steven Brown to discuss the J.J Abrams directed 2009 reboot/sequel/prequel/alternate universe "Star Trek" movie. Will the two think it was a triumphant resurgence of the Trek brand or find it lacking? As usual there's many different opinions including those of members of the audience at the end of the episode. What will Steve and Mike each rate the film (out of 5 stars)? What will the overall podcast score be? Will we ever find out just how quickly Spock runs? Tune in and find out. Maximum warp, punch it!
